With over 25 years of professional acting experience in stage, film, and television, Ned brings a wealth of knowledge to his coaching. Ned's extensive acting training includes improvisational techniques from Second City, Meisner Technique from Jeff Goldblum and Playhouse West, personalization-based techniques from Susan Batson, Eric Morris, and John Markland, imagination-based techniques from Harry Mastrogeorge and Diana Castle, and moment-to-moment techniques from Richard Seyd, including Seyd's Trigger Approach to learning text which Ned teaches.

Born and raised in Madison, Ned 's first stage performance was at age nine in a children's theater production of "Bye Bye Birdie". In college, Ned joined the Dennis Kern's improv-based Ark Repertory Theatre and went on to perform with Chris Farley and his brothers in the improvisational troupe "Mixed Nuts". He was then cast in his first professional play, "Without Pity". Shortly after, he moved to New York to further his dramatic studies and then onto Los Angeles.
Ned made his television debut in the starring role of Grady Gibson in the drama "Guilty or Innocent?". After several acclaimed theater and independent film productions, he made his studio feature film debut as Saint, a vigilante priest, in Sony Pictures' film "Cross", with Michael Clarke Duncan, and Danny Trejo. Later film roles include the imprisoned psychopath Yaxley in "The Evil Gene", the role of Saint in the "Cross" sequel "Cross Wars", and alien-abduction survivor Bernie Stanton in "Case 347".
Ned's latest professional stage credits include: Mechanic in "Middletown", Robert in "The Little Prince", Leonard in "Seminar" (Chance Theater), Lou D’Marco in Moth Theatre’s "Light Sensitive", and Le Bret in Ruskin Group Theatre’s "Cyrano de Bergerac".
